The complexities and risks of institutional fund management in today’s volatile markets are all too familiar to us, as is the commitment required by portfolio managers to achieve superior returns – a task which can be heavily impeded by the ever-increasing burden of regulatory compliance. At the same time, we are staunch believers in the benefits that regulated investment vehicles can provide to investors and managers alike.
Our ‘raison d’etre’ is therefore simple: To establish and manage funds which can enjoy the full suite of benefits that regulated environments can offer, while supporting fund stakeholders to navigate such complex environments without losing sight of the fund’s sole purpose: value creation.

Carolos Georgallis
CEO & Head of Portfolio Management
Carolos brings on board 20+ of fund management and transactional experience from the UK, UAE and Cyprus that spans across multiple geographies and industries.
He was formerly a Director for the Corporate Advisory division of Generation Alfa, a Swiss investment management and advisory firm, in Dubai. Before that he was an Investment Banker at Renaissance Capital, a leading emerging markets specialist investment bank, developing its investment Banking platform in the MENA region.
Between 2004 and 2010, Carolos worked as a Portfolio Manager for Herald Investment Management, the largest Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) specialist fund manager in London.
Carolos holds an M.Phil. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Thea Klatsia
Head of Risk Management
Thea is an investment and risk management professional with experience spanning the UK and Cyprus. She is currently the Head of Risk Management of the Company, responsible for establishing the risk management framework and the implementation of the risk monitoring processes of AIFCAP Managers.
Prior to joining the Company, Thea was an investment analyst for Azzurro Associates in Manchester, UK, a specialist Debt Purchaser of commercial and niche consumer debt portfolios in the UK and across Europe, where, during her tenure, she has analysed and priced debt assets in excess of GBP 1billion.
Thea holds an MSc in Business Analytics, Operational Research and Risk Analysis and a BA in Economics from the University of Manchester. Thea is a CFA charterholder.
Demetris A. Tsingis
Non-Executive Director
Demetris is the Managing Partner of FINCAP Advisers, which he founded in late 2016, previously serving as a Partner heading the Financial Regulation & Advisory departments, the London Office and the Executive Academy departments of one of the leading advisory firms of Cyprus.
Specialised in Private Equity while at Arthur Andersen/Deloitte London, in M&A in BNP Paribas New York and in Private Banking and wealth management at Bank of Cyprus he has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry for over 21 years now.
Demetris has served as a local Councillor of Strovolos Municipality (2007-2016), a board member of the Nicosia Sewerage Board (2012-2016) and as President of Strovolos COOP Bank in 2014. In 2018-2019 he served as a board member of the National Betting Authority and in 2019 he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Housing Finance Corporation (HFC), the only remaining state-owned bank in Cyprus and in 2021 appointed Chairman of the Board until he resigned end of 2022. He is further serving since 2018 as the first Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Cyprus.
Demetris holds a BSc in Government & Economics (LSE) with 1st Class Honours and an MBA with Honours (top 20% of the class) in Finance, Entrepreneurial Management and Private Equity & Venture Capital (Wharton Business School) with a Fulbright Scholarship.
He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), a practicing member of the ICPAC Cyprus and of the ICAEW UK, a CYSEC advanced/AML examination holder, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (Ch. MCSI), a Corporate Finance qualification holder from ICAEW, an approved HRDA External Trainer, an Insolvency Practitioner, an Insurance Advisor and a licensed Mediator amongst other qualifications. He further is a part-time PhD candidate in Entrepreneurship with Warwick Business School (ESRC Scholarship) researching on platform strategy
Nicolas Kelepeniotis
Independent Non-Executive Director
Nicolas handled the Provident Fund of Bank of Cyprus for a number of years.
He served for 5 years as Head of Private Banking managing structured products, portfolios of clients, advising on the funds of Bank of Cyprus that were setup for equities, bonds and derivatives by the bank on behalf of clients.
Additionally, as Head of Private Banking he performed due diligence on which funds clients should take considering NAV, liquidity, risk, diversification, asset class, investment policy, track record, historical testing, simulation analysis and others.
Yiannis Georgiou
Independent Non-Executive Director
Yiannis is the Head of Proprietary Trading at Broctagon Prime and also serves as Non-Executive Director of Teletrade – DJ International Consulting Ltd
He was previously the General Manager and Head of Dealing at the Octa FX/X Global Markets/Tickmill Group where, among others, he led the development of the group’s strategy.
Prior to that he was a Portfolio Manager / Head of RTO & Execution at ForexTime. Between 2010 and 2012 he was a dealer at Tadawul FX. Yiannis began his career as a Fixed Income Trader at STCM Ltd – STA (Now MarexSpectron).
Yiannis holds a degree in Business Planning & Information Systems from the Highest Technological Education Institute of Patra.
